In our ongoing review of our favourite looks from last week’s South African Menswear Week (SAMW) AW16 , we have already tapped into Jenevieve Lyons and Chulaap. Our third pick, selected by Photographer and Art Director MR SIYABONGA MKHASIBE, comes from Nao Serati.
“This simple clean, very casual look from Nao Serati has to be by far my favourite look from SAMW. I appreciate how it easily transitions from runway, straight into everyday wear. The fit of both the jumper and pants are spot on. The straight fit tailored pants are the perfect length and would look good with sneakers as they would with dress shoes. I think grey is a solid colour that should make up the core palette of any man’s wardrobe. The jumper looks light and comfortable, accentuates the body without looking too tight and the overall silhouette from neck down is sleek. Switch the beanie for a poor boy cap, a pair of brogues and this effortlessly goes from cool 20/30 year old, to stylish 40 year old. This look should be every man’s style goal.”
