When days are balmy, it doesn’t get simpler and more convenient than a crisp white T-shirt: fitted in the tailored manner of the consummate dandy or the relaxed fit in the manner of hip-hop culture (but not the oversized and extra long version).
It is also not the passé deep V-neck cleavage show favoured by Euro trash and tough guys. A V-neck shall, till further notice, be worn only as a fitted undershirt. The simplicity of the crew neck crisp white tee goes well with a statement watch, tattoo sleeve, shoes, belt or adventurous trousers, but please avoid making all those statements, all at once.

A collection of white tees is a summer savvy casual uniform you can rotate, playing around with different pants and shoes. It can also be a base for a smarter look later in the evening, paired with a light cardigan or blazer, with chinos and espadrilles. Think evening boat cruise with a select group of your closest and dearest.
Every season I find a white t-shirt fit that I like (its different every season as one’s body, erm, changes) and buy a few of them that I will rotate throughout the warmer months. In fact, along with fitted shades of grey tees, you may never need to wear another T-shirt again. That’s certainly the case with me.
