A fragrant, non-gendered philosophy

Even those of us who have learned not to trust too deeply the signs that the weather gods throw at us, signalling the advent of Spring, would admit to being excited by the prospects of longer, warmer days and, naturally, a new fragrance. We recommend Diptyque Philosykos.

Philosykos, in reference to philosopher Plato, means “friend of the fig tree” in Greek and this fragrance – a non-gendered s eau de toilette – is inspired by the varied smells from the fig tree in the heat of summer time Greece. It is fresh, woody, fruity and smells like a perfect, still holiday on warm, azure waters. Its great for the daytime and can be layered with something bit richer (I am prone to Oud based evening fragrances myself) to pull you through to a dinner and drink into the night.
Top: fig tree leaf, green fruit.
Middle: fig tree wood, milky sap.
Base: white cedar, musk.
